Post subject: 2 embarassing questions I've just got to ask!

Hiya, I am thinking about getting a dog (see my "What dog?" thread).

I have noticed that dogs like to sniff menstruationing women! Why is this? It's highly embarrassing! Does this problem affect male dogs only? My sister in-law's dogs; a Dalmatian and a Jack Russell, does this. And, I have refrain myself from going round to see her at certain times of the month!

Another question I like to ask. Do dogs have any problems like for example as mentioned above; with breastfeeding women as well? I am breastfeeding at the moment.
