Our Lab Zeus needs to have ear drops for the next couple of weeks, but
insists very strongly that we not do this. He is very hyper about us putting
the drops into the ears. Anyone have any tried and true diversions that
would help here??

thanks

Bruce and Zeus

Any good-smelling food treat item (I used turkey dog bits) or those little
liver treats.

You may try some peanut butter on a spoon. His interest will be focused on
the spoon and not what you are doing.

My Lab also does not care for her ears sorted .
I think she feels I am putting food in them and she may miss something.
I know it will not help much now.
I think it is better to get them used to their ears being touched.
Like every day just look in the dogs ears.
Make's it much better when you need do something with them.
I know it helped with mine.
If you do things that are different they are bound to wonder what's going
on.
Good luck.
Pat.
