My dog & Cat...

Well, my cat is in heat..and last night, I found my dog trying to "hump" my cat..i wasn't quite sure where to post this so I started here..I'm not sure what to do..She is allowing the dog to do to it, but I'm not sure if I should stop him. (Common sense says stop it) I'm not sure..Any suggestions?
