Archived from groups: alt>pets>hamsters (more info?)

Just dropped in to see how everyone and their hams are doing.

As of a month ago we are now living in a stone cottage in Scotland. Its
chaos, boxes everywhere. I'm still between hamsters. We will have to get
straight here first before I can start looking for a new wee friend (or
2????).

:o)

Howdy, Hilary!
Things and hammies are great for us in Texas, USA
Little DJ is doing fine and still has more energy than a 6 year old human
child.
Sassy loves her big ball and runs in it every night.
Gumdrop is so sweet. He just crawls into any hand.
My wife and I returned yesterday from the Texas Renaissance Festival.

We had a great time.We saw a real Scottish Highlands band call Tartanic.
We love the pipes and drums!!! I learned to never ask a Scotsman what he has
under his kilt.

Hi Hilary,

Wow! Scotland!

I have a funny feeling you'll expedite the process of unpacking and
arranging the cottage....why? So you can get a couple of little fuzzbutt
critters to keep you company and restore the usual balance in that household
:)

Johannes and Karma are doing well and send their regards...they're jealous
of you being in Scotland and ask why *I* don't move there too :) HA!

Hubby is being a bit stubborn about it at the moment. We have a lot to do
although I think we broke the back of it. I think asking him to build a
hamster ball stair lift up to the bedroom may have gone a bit far?????!!! I
think its a bit cold for hamsters at moment. we are busy "winterising" the
cottage and there seems to be a lot of
open doors and windows.

I'm glad you, Johannes and Karma are doing well.

I'm glad you are all doing fine. The renaissance festival sounds interesting.
We havent got out and about much since we moved in. Were busy "winterising"
and doing running repairs before the weather turns and the first of the long
list of holidaying relatives arrives!! I knew we shouldnt have given them
the address!!
