has anyone ever hear of a norwegian red golden retriever. I have one
and was told that is what she is but I can't find out anything about
the type of breed.

I, personally, have never heard of that breed, but maybe someone else here
has.
The only Norwegian dogs I have heard of are:
Norwegion Buhund, Norwegion Elkhound and Norwegion Lundehund, and the only
retrievers I have heard of are: Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Curly Coated
Retriever,
Flat Coated Retriever, Laborador Retriever,
Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and Golden Retriever, but the Golden
Retriever does come in red, and cream.
When I was young, mostly all of the Golden Retrievers were very red, and now
mostly all the ones I see are a shade of cream or gold.
Describe what your dog looks like. Is the dog red or golden? What type of
coat does it have? Where did you get the dog?

That is exactly the color I used to see in Goldens when I was young;
actually that was the only color I used to see. I prefer that color, but I
never see any like that anymore. That's a beautiful dog.

I wonder why most of them are now a whitish blond. Is that the current
interpretation of Golden color? Like a ring?

I still do see some of that reddish color in Goldens - but it's much more
common in field dogs than in the show ring. Even the dark dogs I see in the
breed ring are more yellow than red.
