Ive got a rat that is 2 years and 5 months old, and he is looking terrible.
Still eating, drinking, etc. but he has almost no hair now, and is really
wrinkly. How old in human years would he be?

thanks in advance!

Sue

I read once that you can figure 10 days equals one year. By that formula,
he would be in his late eighties. But by that formula, I've had rats live
to be anything from 60 to 125! The problem with generalizations is that
they apply to everyone, but no one in particular.

Hmm. Tybalt and Angel should be collecting Social Security.

Hi... I'm new to Rats - Hey Everyone... I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I am BRAND new to owning rats. I got 3 baby girls on Friday, January 2nd. I got the rats for the kids because they were bugging me and because we found someone who would give them to us for..

Spots on rats - Noticed a couple of the females have started to get small spots on their back and snout. We use Russel bedding and the vet had a look for mites i.e. nothing seen? Anyone ideas as to what else could be causing these? thanks Tony
