Is this a serious RESCUE newsgroup? For far the only one that posts is
puppy wizard and none of those posts make sense! If someone knows of
another dog rescue newsgroup, specifically Golden retrievers, please let me
know.

Sue, you will do MUCH better finding GR rescue contacts and information
through email lists/listserves. A good place to start is
yahoogroups.com At one time this newsgroup was reasonably active in
discusssions About rescue work... not so much a place to post dogs in
need or to set up transports. The real rescuers have been squeazed
out.... by you-know-who. Those on the newsgroups just killfile him so
they never see the posts....

There are other posts here - you should probably just killfile the Puppy
Idiot. That will make the other posts easier to find.
