I pick up my new Grey tomorrow. He's 14 months old and doesnt like women,
(think I'll call him tony).
I've got his cage ready and will be buying lots of toys on sunday at the
National.
I'll post some pics on my website sometime next week.
Take care,
Ray

I havent seen the bird yet but as its obviously not happy where he is I will
bring him home anyway.
If he doesnt settle in the house I will put him in an aviary and possibly
get him a mate.
Anyway once he's here, he's here to stay I wont be re-homing him with anyone
else.
Thanks for the kind words,
Ray

Doesn't he already *have* a name?
If he does have one, don't change it Ray. It is hard enough for them to
change owners when he has become so bonded to the first one, without also
losing his identity.

I dont know how many owners he's had but I know I'll be his last. He'll get
the best care and diet that I can provide.

I have had parrots for years, softbills are my favourites though.
I've bred 2 speckled mousebirds this year and my Meyers lorikeets are
sitting on eggs.
We got "Charlie" home ok. He is very nervous at the moment but i'm sure it
wont take long for him to settle down.
I've always fed parrot premium and an endless list of fruit and veg.
