We are in the middle of a heat wave (as I'm sure most north americans
are, and possibly Europeans)

Last night I taught Tuck to bring me a rolled up blanket while DH was
at work
[KEYWORDS: I'm Cold]

At 6am, I sat on the edge of the bed, stretched and said, "I'm Cold"
(It's 88 degrees F at 6am)

My husband sleepily responded with , "You're crazy"

Tuck got up, went to the living room and returned with the blanket.

My husband said, "I should have guessed"

Diddy,
Tuck is a smart boy. I am with your husband when he said, Your Crazy!
How could you even mouth the words in this weather? I know training
goes on year round......

We are doing indoor training. Got to keep the boy's mind busy, and it's
too hot outside.

You put a CDX on a dog.

I decided yesterday that he's old enough to do low jumping and hopefully
will be at full height by December, when the vet finally gives him
permission to jump. So yesterday I started low jumps (8 inches)
We did the whole open routine minus full height jumps. My husband mowed
the yard, and everytime Tuck picked up the dumbell, he got a mouthful of
thatch, and spit it out.
After I raked the area, things went well, except, he decided to pull a
comedy act. Everytime I asked for a "front" then "finish" he'd get down
and ROLL over and around then sit up at heel.

He was so hilarious. I couldn't help but laugh, rewarding him for his
style and sillyness, even though he must not do that in the ring. He
just had the goofiest look on his face that was just priceless.

Dogs out in the cold rain - I've taken my mother's two dogs (terrier and German shepard) since she is too sick to take care of them. They had been house dogs. Because my wife and son are seriously alergic to dogs (they go weekly to the Dr for shots) we can't have them in the house....
