changing cages

Quick question for the group(s). I have a well adjusted YNA, 6 years
old. I use to bring him to work with me everyday when I was working. He
had a huge cage, aprox. 6 feet high and 3 feet long in my office. I have
brought the cage home and would like to make it his new home at home.
He's got a nice size cage presently, but the newer one is so nice, he'll
have lots of room to play. Any suggestions on the transition? Or can I
just set up the new one and put him in it. It's been about two years
since he's spent any time in it (not that he spends much time in his
cage now). It will be in the same place as the old one. Thanks in
advance.
