I can't find info if the mites from mice can go to other animals of
different species as hosts too.
I am concerned because my cat started scratching rather vigorously then
began to make a high pitched mewling sound while scratching like she was
in pain, I had never heard her making such noises, I was afraid the mites
were on her. My vet cannot see her until Monday morning, so I have to
wait until then.
Btw, I hung a Hot Shot no pest strip in the room, which is closed off,
and the mites are still moving and active in there, does anyone know how
long it takes exactly to start killing the mites with this product? I
know to keep it up for a while for the eggs that haven't hatched but I'd
like to see the live mites start to die soon. And thanks for the advice
in my first post about this subject as well. Now I'm just worried for my
cat and worrying until Monday not knowing.
