My rat has a hair problem...it might be the small cage he's in, or it could
be the heat...I don't know. He's losing his hair, not in clunks, but losing
it like going bald. He's a grayish black rat, don't know the type of rat he
is, and he is about over a year old. I hope someone could help me.

It could be mites. It could also be a lot of other things. Is he
scratching a lot?
