Post subject: cages and mice

after 4 years with our grey, his cage has started to attract mice. does
anyone have any tips on how to get rid of them, in particular ways of
stopping them getting into his cage; any cages that are mouse proof.

Place traps and bait stations around your homes making sure the bird has no access to them. Mice are filthy creature which piss as they walk and so they will be walking over your kitchen surfaces and on areas wherw your bird goes, into his food and water etc and they can cause some nasty diseases.
