I have recently adopted my first bunny. I got him when he was barely the
size of my hand and he has grown up to be quite the terror to my pet cats
and I. Recently, he has started jumping on to my bed and instantly licking
my face till i wake up. Of course I put him off the bed and go back to
sleep but then he does it again. Why do rabbits do this.... Theres nothing
like wakeing up to bunny kisses except at 4 am. Also We're not sure if he's
playing or not but he'll chase me around the room and growl.. I think he
likes doing it because the first few times he did it it scared me and i ran
around screaming. I swear he laughed. Is this normal rabbit behavior the
chasing and growling?? He's very spoiled which i'm sure is how most rabbits
are supposed to be. I've never had a rabbit before just cats. They are
definately nothing alike. His other favorite thing which i'm not sure what
to do about either is he likes to pee on my pillow when i get out of bed in
the middle of the night. Does he want my pillow or does he just not like
it when i sleep???

thanks..
the insane one

That is a sign that your Bunny loves and trust you.I believe that to be the
biggest compliment a Bunny can give you. But as Baerana said in her post
about the pee on the pillow, tell her no in a firm tone as you would a dog
cat or child.Fatboy use to do the same thing until he was potty trained
and had many scoldings until he stopped peeing on the bed. Putting a
litter box in your bed room may help your bun get the idea where to go
potty, with a little timothy hay in it.
They seem to go back using the potty the same place they peed last time by
smell.
Good luck
Shawn
