bugs on fruit treat stick

I was about to open a fruit treat nibble stick when I saw little brown
insects crawling on the stick and in the wrapper,
it was not stored for any time here and is straight from the store. The
wrapper is still sealed though I guess there must be some air
getting in for the insects to be alive.

Any ideas on what they are?

I'm sending the fruit stick off to the manufacturers.
