From today's classifieds:

Alsatian Shepalute
Mellow, wolf gray, male pup. Pedigree and shots. Yellow eyes. Breeder.
$250.00

Honest, it's real. I couldn't make this up.

Why do you find a cross between a German Shepherd and a Malamute so
surprising?

Wow - I did not realize that Moochie (aka SmoochaLottaPoochaLotta) was a new
breed. All along we just thought he was a mixed breed. Imagine that! He
is 110 lbs of gorgeous boy with Malamute markings/coloring, in a German
Shepherd shaped (for the most part!) body. He is the smartest dog I have
ever known.

Wait till I tell Moochie about this. He will be SO impressed. (not)

Heh. I *have* had people tell me that he should be a breed. To heck
with temperament, he is the handsomest dog ever, you know?

Funny how Khan and Smoochie are the same mix but got it all reversed.
Khan's got Spepherd markings in a Malamute body

Maybe John'll be impressed for him, Lea. Mooch is HIS dog after all.

Wow, I've never heard of another Moochie! Mine's a red and white Pembroke
Corgi. :)

Khan is indeed one of the most handsome dogs that I have ever seen.

And Suja, you are SO right, Moochie is 100% (make that 110%) John's dog. I
can't even walk him because all he does is drag me back to the house to get
back to his beloved John. I have never seen a dog so obsessed with a man!

Heh. It must be a very prolific breeder because I saw 3 of them today
in shelters. I wonder what registry issued that pedigree!

She was being facetious. The cross is not surprising, but the
"breed" name is.

Oh. In that case...never mind.

At least it wasn't a Mastihuahua :)
