Hi there
I have got a Brazilian rainbow boa which I have had for a year now. He looks
well and does not seem to be suffering from any form of stress, that is that
he eats well, sheds well and has a good colour to him. He does however make
little whining noises almost like a tiny cat's meow and am unable to find
out why this is the case and if it is normal. I have looked into books but
have seen no reference to these kind of noises and am naturally concerned.
He is also very active when he has not just consumed a huge meal so every
indication is that he is healthy. His cage is also kept clean. Could you
please enlighten me?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Congestion in the lungs. Probably a respiratory infection. Go see a vet.
