A good general rule of thumb for MINIMUM tank size is the length of the tank
plus the width of the tank should equal at least the length of the snake.
Better if they have more space, of course.

So that's a cage 4 feet long by 3 feet wide, or 5'x2', or bigger. :)

that makes sense, 'word on the street' is that the tank should be at least
half the lenth of the snake, too small for me, but thats what i hear, my 5
foot snake is a snake that loves to climb so has a high as well as long
tank.

AS BIG AS YOU CAN AFFORD TO HAVE IN YOUR HOUSE. IVE GOT A 9FT EMPEROR
BOA AND HER TANK IS 1.6M LONG, 0.8M DEEP AND 1.2M HIGH THEY LOVE TO
CLIMB SO GIVE YOUR SNAKE A LARGE BRANCH TO CLIMB FROM. ALSO SHELFS ARE
A GOOD IDEA TO GIVE IT MORE FLOOR SPACE

A 4'x3' cage is a perfect size for an Boa Constrictor (and much better
than the 5'x 2' option in my opinion).

Why did you cross-post that message all over the place? Are you some kind of
troll?
