Yo Bob,
if it's any more than one bird, it very well could be something communal.
First thing I'd do is bleach-clean the feed and drinking containers. Do a
thorough scraping and cleaning, and examine your feed for stailness or fungus.
Make sure you have no openings in the loft big enough for mice or even sparrows
to get in. Put some vinegar in their drinking water, and check all birds vent
area for runny stool. Isolate any that have a bad stool.

You'll need to ask some of the guys from the PerformanceList, or Earl's List, or
even the PigeonList about specific diseases and medications. These are just
some things you can do to slow it up until you can find out what it is.

You have somthing in your loft that is bad. What I mean is a viruis or
somthing. It can be brought in by other birds or sparrows or birds in
general.I would get several droppings from you loft and take it to a vet
and have it anilized.I,m sure that a really good anti-biotic will cure
it.
