bird flu!!

Can anyone help me solve a problem please? My dear kitty [cat] keeps teasing my ben and ann [birds].. The only way to separate them was to shut my kitty out when i'm not at home but for several weeks, kitty kept bringing in dead birds and rats!!! i'm so disgusted.. i don't know what to do.. these birds could be infected with bird flu and now i'm here exposed to all of them... with the pandemic threatening the world, i'm scared... i've read at http://www.drugdelivery.ca/bird-flu.aspx
