beagle paw has sore... any comments or suggestions?

There are three pictures in my public folder of my dog who has
developed some type of sore.

I cleaned it out with a small amount of peroxide and applied a thin
layer of neosporin however he just licked it off. Any suggestions?

Should I wait a few days before seeing the vet or is this an urgent
case?
