Geez...

Dogs USA is notorious for carrying ads for anyone who coughs up the cash
to run them. They used to run ads in the Australian Cattle Dog section
for a breeder named Ken Hershey. Everyone in the breed knew he was a
notorious puppymiller and they wrote time and again to Dog Fancy (who
publishes the rag) asking them to pull Ken's ad, but they wouldn't. When
Hershey finally got busted and several hundred dogs were confiscated and
the awful pics were splashed all over the local papers, an ACD rescuer
and myself gathered up all the evidence and sent it to them. They
finally pulled the ad in future editions.

Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware.
