NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use baby powder in a Guinea pig cage or any other
type of pet! It can cause them harm in the form of respitory problems
or worse. Here's what I recommend. Pet stores have cleaners and
other things that you can sprinkle in the bottom of their cage that
will clean or absorb odor. Look into products that help with ferret
odor. What type of bedding are you using? The best type, and safest
type, of bedding you can use is a paper based bedding. Woodchips of
any kind, unless they are KILN DRIED have harmful vapors. Aspen is ok
as well. Stuff like Carefresh are best. Carefresh is good and
controls odor but is expensive.
