Why did the person who calls himself/herself The Puppy Wizard attack me
for asking a simple question? And why is he/she touting some book that
isn't even available online anymore?

I'm getting my dog neutered because it's the responsible thing to do. I
won't be breeding him, and I don't want to risk unwanted puppies. There
are shelters full of animals being euthanized. Pet overpopulation is a
huge problem. I do volunteer work with Pets DC, which helps HIV/AIDS
patients with their pets, and one of our requirements is that pets be
neutered. For many reasons it's healthier for them in the long run.

Is there another listserv where I might converse on dog behavior
without being attacked online? Just that one reply from The Puppy
Wizard has me upset. Thanks so much for any/all suggestions.
Best Regards, Dru

Sorry, puppy wizard, your book is no longer available online. I've gone
to the Web site, and it no longer exists. See for yourself:

How do I block messages? I'm posting to the list via Google groups. Any
hints much appreciated! Thanks!

thanks so much! it's sad that it's been reduced to this, to have to go
through all this hassle just to get away from one sick troll. sigh.

The so called "Puppy Wizard" did the same thing to me. He is apparently
some kind of nut. I have blocked messaged from him.

NO IT AIN'T. Just put in the groups rec.pets.dogs.behavior

You mean, when your lies are EXXXPOSED and you
are DISCREDITED as a dog abusing mental case.

Unfortunately, the OP is posting via Google, which doesn't have KF

No offense, but it's not at all a hassle if you use proper USENET-reading
software instead of trying to read via the Web. FYI, both USENET and this
group predate Google by years.

just to get away from one sick troll.

As a point of note, he's not a troll; he's a disturbed individual who has
an obsession with the dog groups.

You know those people who stand on street corners and shout about the
government contaminating our precious bodily fluids and beaming coded
messages through their jockstraps?

You just ran into the Usenet equivalent. You can't help him, so just
ignore him. A killfile does wonders.
