outside.
In my opinion, dogs belong outside. If I were a dog I would love a yard to
play in. Birds to watch and chase. Cats to keep an eye on. Noises to bark
at when challenging my territory. Smells to float past my nose. Sounds to
listen to and investigate. A bathroom that doesn't require me getting my
person's attention to access. >>

Dude,

You should really think about things. We had a guy here in Texas that made
his 2 toy breeds live outside. The state considers that illegal. Toy
breeds are not bred to be outside dogs. This guy thought as you did. He
new has a new address. He's in jail for cruelty. Plus a $1000 (might have
been $1500) per dog fine. He got 1 year in jail.

Before you think about getting another dog you need to get unlazy and do
some research. You obviously haven't nor have you checked into alternatives
to the potty problem. Sometimes when little dogs do their business in the
house it isn't potty training. It could be stress or illness.

I will tell you NOT to get a Shih Tzu. For one thing they CAN NOT live
outdoors. They were bred to be indoor pets/companions and they usually take
about 1 year to potty train (that is an average some faster some slower.)
They all get trained unless they have lazy owners. Plus like Yorkies they
need to be groomed often.

You know if you don't like your dogs and they aren't part of your family and
are too much work for you... perhaps you should find homes for them where
they can have a good life. Now I know that you are going to say something
along the lines of Fuck something (you are predictible....) but if potty
training (no matter how long it takes) is too much trouble perhaps you
aren't a dog person. No crime in that but perhaps... a bird? a snake?
Ferret? I think cats need to be trained too... though never owned a cat so
not positive. Pets take work no matter what kind you have. If you don't
have the time to train them then you have 2 options... not get one or hire a
pro. Duh.

Dude, you are replying to a seven month old post. I think it's a
safe bet that the discussion is over.
