Hey guys, I just started using usenet via google groups and was glad
to find a community of rabbit owners.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Matthew, and I'm a 19 year old
from McLean, VA. I'm a Computer Science Major at George Mason
University. I owned one rabbit as a child, and currently have owned
my second rabbit for about 6 months.
Which brings me to Buster, my current rabbit. Buster is a male
English Spot/ Dwarf mix (I believe) who is about a year old. He is a
house rabbit with a moderately sized cage, but is allowed many hours
to roam free and wreak havoc on our living room.
Here is an album of him: http://picasaweb.google.com/bigboehmboy/BestOfBunny
Here is my youtube profile, containing several videos of him:

He has certainly grown somewhat (most of those photos are from when I
got him 6months ago,) but I wouldn't put him at nearly ten pounds. I
guess it is possible though. >> Stay informed about: Hello alt.pets.rabbits! |

Hi Matthew,
Welcome to the group! I found APR via Google Groups a couple years ago
and it has been a wonderful place to learn about rabbits and meet
other bunny owners. Rabbits are such wonderful animals - they get up
to all sorts of interesting business (especially when roaming free) -
they are such a joy to behold!
Buster is just adorable. I have an English Spot too - called Inky.
When she is out roaming, she is just the most curious inquisitive
creature you will ever meet. From Buster's photos, it looks like he is
quite the same too!
Keep us updated about Buster and good luck in your studies. I've had
to teach myself some computer programming for my work and it's very
cool albeit challenging at times.
Cheers,
Marie >> Stay informed about: Hello alt.pets.rabbits! |

Hello Matthew!
Welcome to apr. It's very nice to meet such a pet responsible young man. It
sounds like you take very good care of Buster. He's very handsome. Thanks
for sharing your photos.
I assume you're in the US? I'm in Canada. My 14 year old bun Cocoa just
recently passed away, but you can still check out his many photos and vids
at the link below.
Please feel free to share your experiences or ask questions; we're here to
help!

Welcome to you and Buster, Matthew! You'll find lots and lots of knowledge,
support and entertaining stories here at apr! I found apr when I was losing
my first rabbit, Snowbelle, to congenital kidney failure -- and then through
the tumultuous lives of Rosie, Roger and Patches, all at the Bridge now.
For the moment, I am bunless, but the friendships I've made at apr, both
lagomorphic and human, keep me in the neighborhood !
My skin kid Jon and I are in Dallas, and the zoo right now consists of 4
cats and a very neurotic maltese.
Are you on summer break right now?

Yes, I am.

He is VERY curious. He quickly learned how to open his cage and loves
to hop on the top of the couch and give a puzzled look. Whenever a
door opens, he darts for it from across the room and much of the time
manages to escape to upstairs. >> Stay informed about: Hello alt.pets.rabbits! |
