I recently purchased an albino oscar and have had him for 3 days now. I
have a 50 gallon tank with 2 firemouth cichlids, another oscar, 2
danios and one redtailed shark. They are all relatively the same size,
all are approx. 2-3 inches. However, the albino oscar hasn't eatten
anything and was sitting in the corner of the tank near the top. I have
run all tests on the water and it is perfect. What should I do?

Live food. Throw in a dozen guppies and see him come to life.

Wait and see what happens... he's either sick or stressed - either way,
unless there are any visible signs of illness, there's little you can do.

If he's spooked by The Others all you can do is remove him.

Best of luck with the danios.

Albino Oscars (was Blueberry Oscars?) - I posted over at SACSG and the responses so far indicate that the White Oscars that are common at LFSs these days are pigmented and not true albinos. However, no one seems to know where they come from yet, but they say that the lack of pink in the eyes..

Shy Oscars - I just purchased a pair of young red oscars. I set up a 10 gallon tank only for them. They are apparently frightened and are immobile at the bottom of the tank. They refuse to eat. This has happened in the past with oscars. How can I get them to become..
