any advice on hounds as pets appreciated

I just adopted a rescue dog from a VA shelter (I'm in MA). She is so
darling. It looks like she has considerable hound in her. She is so
sweet. I don't know a lot about hounds but I am attracted to them. I
have owned labs, St. Bernards, and Akita/Shep. X (Mostly working
dogs.) Where can I get more info on hounds as pets, special training
issues etc. Any advice appreciated.

Look up a few hound rescue sites on Google. Some have really good
info about owning their type of dog, usually good honest info that goes
over the downside thoroughly.
