Hi all,

I have noticed over the past few days that Miranda will give her head a
shake as if something is annoying her ears? Its just a quick flick and
she carries on normally but it is happening often enough for me to
notice. What could this be? Do I need to take her into the Vets? Could
someone reply urgently as getting a Vet over the weekend may prove
difficult whereas I may be able to get an appointment today if needed.
Reality is I cannot get a hold of her to look at her ears either :(
Catching her to put her in a pet carrier will be a mission in itself as
well...

Regards Kate, Madam Honey and my foot guard Miranda :)

Kate, you should have her checked for earmites, or yucky critters, mine
have all done that and sometimes afterward they will start grooming their
ears, but two of my buns did have wax and mites and were treated with
drops. If you can get close to her, check to see if there is any brown
crud inside of her ears. Carla Liza and Jodie.

If you are sensing it is an ear issue, it probably is.

But bunnies do a head flick thing, too, that means "catch me if you
can!" It's usually done just before they dart off.

It could be just wax, but I would have your vet take a look. Give her
(him) a call.

you need to get into the habit of just calling your vet and ask them
what they think. it will be much quicker overall..
could be something in there. if you can get a flashlight and look do
it.. i don't think it is urgent/ try to relax..

beth and her cute little fuzzbutts, :)
