Hello everybody
I just wonder if anyone have some experience about male ore female yellow
naped amazones?
I have ordered a baby amazone for delivery in september.
Is there any differens between males and females in talking ability,
training ability, screaming ect?
Who is the most proper pet bird? >> Stay informed about: YNA |

I strongly recommend a female. Male DYH, YN and BF Amazons are notorious
for becoming biting monsters in the spring (once they reach puberty, that
is). There is a back issue of Bird Talk magazine that discusses this in
detail. It was 2-3 years ago. You may be able to access the old stories at
birdtalk.com. >> Stay informed about: YNA |

Thank you for your answers.
ecept of the biting risk (please ecuse my weak english :) is there any other
differences between the sexes?
Could a female YN be a good talker, and otherwise make a good petbird?

I agree with that, Bob, but at the same time I'm glad my Amazon turned out
to be female. She is a complete cuddle bunny, the antithesis of everything
I'd heard about Amazons.

Well be advised, a lot of what you hear is baloney. Amazons male or female
will mature, learning how to accept that they are not puppies is our jobs.

Hello No_One :O)
Thank you for your answer. Are females more likely to be screamers then?
