I've not heard of the technique, but most trainers are against choking and
pinching collars.
What's a volunteer to do?
Quit.
If you are not in a position to change anything, all you can do is quit and
go volunteer somewhere else where you can believe in what they do.
Its not worth letting it effect your life. Believe me I know.
