We need some Vibes after all ... Munk is feeling fine, eating, pooping and
running around like a wild indian ... BUT, the poor little guy's scrotal
sacs are collecting fluid. He may need an antibiotic when we can get him in
to see the vet in the morning. I have been putting warm moist compresses on
him all day today (at periodic intervals) to help the fluid metastasize back
into his little body.
I'm told that this is not an emergency situation and that it's not that
uncommon. Many times a dog will collect this fluid and often must wear a
diaper to keep from dragging the sacs on the ground. The most important
thing is to keep him off any rough surface such as a wire cage that could do
damage. He is never on wire anyway so we're ok there. Has anyone else had
this situation from a bunny being neutered?

| Hope Munk gets rid of his fluid problems, maybe some antibiodics will do
the trick. Poor kid. Sending vibes for him to get well. There was actually
someone on here who had these problems a couple of years ago, but can't
remember who. Carla and Claire.

Aww, poor little fellow.
But I'm sure he'll be fine, Dori.
He wouldn't be frisking about if he were really hurting.

Munk went to the vet this morning ... They drained the sacs and opened a
stitch to help with the drainage. He has to go back thursday. The fluid is
building up again already but it doesn't seem to be bothering him. I think
it is just a matter of time, but Mommy feels bad for him :-(

That's what mommies are for!
Feel better fast, little Munk.
(I think you already do, but you can probably milk this for an extra
raisin or two.)

We took Munk back to the vet again today. His surgery site does not look
good. The vet debrided some dead skin and cleaned the area somewhat. He has
to go back again on thursday. When the surgery was done, the sac's were left
to shrivel up, but they are not doing that and continue to fill up with
fluid. He may have to have another laser surgery to remove them ... Please
send lots of Vibes for my sweet little boy. He is being such a little
trouper.

What a bunch of bunk Munk. That isn't a very nice way for them to treat
you. Why don't they just remove them the way they do a dog? Then there's
nothing else to worry about.
Sending get well vibes to you sweet Munk. And prayers for your Mommy.
Love and hugs,
Toni & Flapr
