As disabled person (someone who has more medical bills then I would care to
think of) on medical welfare is so high that if I was making cash above the cut
off margin I believe I would be able to go out and find my own medical
insurance provider. I DO NOT get food stamps, or any other sort of state
assistance even though as I look at my budget I can see where it would come in
handy. You're wrong when you say that these benefits aren't available to those
newly graduated from college because they are. You also have to figure that a
lot of college grads can still be covered by their parent's insurance.
Anyhoo, this is about animal medical costs, not mine. $65 to get a rodent's
teeth trimed? That's like paying $65 buck to get a manicure when I could clip
my nails myself (incidentally manicures only cost $15 bucks, and you get a hand
massage and nail polish to boot.)
