Post subject: Vegan jobs in Washington D.C.
Archived from groups: talk>politics>animals (more info?)

Hi everybody,

I'm a recruiter who specializes in the public relations industry. We
are currently working on a few positions for a nonprofit organization
in D.C. The organization is a group of doctors and community members
who work together to promote preventive medicine and encourage higher
standards for ethics and effectiveness in research. Their programs are
focused in federal nutrition reform, clinical research for diabetes,
cancer, and other serious conditions, alternatives to animal research
and elimination of unethical human experiments.

Media relations specialist - We are looking for a strong media
relations professional with 2-4 years of experience in the Washington
D.C. area. This person will be developing story ideas and pitching to
the press. Excellent writing skills for press release writing,
backgrounders, pitch letters, etc. Coordination of events, etc.

We are also looking for a Communications Coordinator for the department
(1 year of communications experience and a strong interest in public
relations). This is an excellent entry level position to work for a
great cause.

I would love to hear from anybody who may be interested in working for
this cause. Or any suggestions on other places I may be able to network
or find the right person.

Thanks!

Lindsay Olson
