Vancouver - bassett cross needs home

A family found "Pookie" (a name he will response to) while walking
their dogs a couple of days before Christmas. He is a Basset-cross
that had been rather neglected and almost starved but still had a
sweet personality. He is assumed to be around 5-7 years old. The
family took him in and feed, washed, and loved him back to health.
In the beginning he ate everything given to him and was territorial
about food with the other two dogs. This has now stopped since he is
eating normally and putting on much needed weight. He is good with
children and loves dogs and cats. The family is unable to keep him
because they already have two dogs but would like to find a good home
