Hi again Pete,
If you could have seen me checking on them all the time for any
reaction, worrying myself sick in case i had harmed them you wouldn't think
me gutsy at all. What i meant in my last post was that it had worked for us
but now i think about it i may well do a bit of hunting around on the net
for alternatives. At the time i needed something done quickly as Shay was
ripping himself apart because of these lice.I did look into Frontline and
like you have heard a lot of people who have used it successfully, and
decided that if used very, very carefully it would be OK.Whether i would use
it again is another story. My big problem at the moment is that we haven't
got an exotic vet at our practice so we are dealing with vets who have very
little interest or knowledge about rats,Our last vet was brilliant and if i
had said that i really did not want to use Frontline he would have searched
high and low for something else to try.You don't come across vets like him
very often and there aren't any other exotic vets in our area.Anyway, thanks
for your good wishes for the boys.
