Update

Well, my two foster rabbits went to a home today. Hope it works out, but if
not, they know the rabbits can come back to me. They went to a young girl
who has been studying rabbit care and insisted on adoption, rather than a
pet store/breeder purchase. They had already gotten a cage, just waiting
for it to arrive (so they borrowed the one I got the buns in), had a whole
stack of library books on rabbits and she paid me w/her own money. I was
hoping for a $25 adoption fee for the pair to cover my costs, but she only
had $5, so I said that was fine. Her family has expressed interest in
starting a rabbit shelter since there are none around here anymore and the
local shelter appearently no longer takes rabbits. Let's hope it all works
out! Of course, she saw my boys and fell in love, but I ain't parting
w/them!! ~:^)

if they couldn't even pay the $25 adoption fee, what makes you think they can
afford the proper healthcare and diet of a rabbit?
