Well here is a quick update on my gang.

Moe is doing quite well. He has not had a gas episode in awhile. He seems
to have put on some weight since Jasmine has not been eating as well so we
are trying to keep an eye on that.

Bear - Seems to be eating pretty good today (some days are worse than
others). Seems quite depressed and not sure what we can do to help him at
this point. Head x-rays showed nothing significant. Still don't have the
culture results. He is still on antibiotics and pain meds and goes back to
the out of town vet on Wednesday where we will have serious decisions to
make.

Jasmine has her ups and downs but seems to be doing all right. Has been on
meds for 3 months and will continue for another month then go for another
check up.

Chloe seems to be coming around somewhat. She was quite mean after losing
Rocky but seems to be settling.

Dakota (lab) is having alot of trouble with his allergies this year as well
as ear infections. We have him on a new allergy med and a different ear
medication and it seems to be helping.

Kermit (parrot) is doing well. He had his picture taken by a photographer
(it was free and we even got free pictures) and they may be used in BirdTalk
magazine.

Murray and I are doing well and both have next week off (Murrays company is
on shutdown and I get paid holidays and thought I may as well use them now.)
My allegies are acting up so the dog and I are both a mess but other than
that things are okay.

Thanks to everyone for all their support during the last 2 months. It has
been a very rough time for me.

Kim

Kim,

You've got a lot of courage. I know it has been a difficult time.

Congratulations on your birdie being such a model.

Best wishes to all the sufferers. You are doing a great job.

I hope all of you feel better soon, and I'm glad you have some time to
yourself this week.

Kim, we all have our fingers crossed for you. I understand a lot what you
are going through, and I admire that you have held up for so long. I wish
there were healing hands to make your bunns well again. Whatever decision
you have to make about Bear will be a good one. As much as you care about
the little fellow, it could not be anything but the right one.

Take care of yourself, too. Taking care of rabbits can take a lot out of a
person. I learned that after being sick last week.

Thanks for the update, Kim. WOW,
You sure do have a big family.

It is hard work taking care of our furry's
aw, er, feathers too!

But, when you are hooked you are hooked!
