Hello
I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a good site where I can
learn about the care, breeding and feeding of these creatures?
I don't want to buy one of the scam $20 gift sets and my son i
sinterested in them as pets.

Building acrylic tanks - If you're building your own acrylic tank how do you bend the 4 corners? I know I can get various sheets and cement them together, but making that bend and at the right spot? Thanks
R.0. Water - I have been using bottled spring water for my tanks. One LFS suggested I switch to R.O. water and said they sell it or I could get it from a machine at the supermarket. Is this type of water better for them? Can a machine at the supermarket be trusted...
Well the LFS said... - That I can't keep a male betta in with any other fish. I thought I had read somewhere that you could keep them in a community tank, just not with gouramis or other bettas. Who's right? Just as a side note. I finally got my 20g up and running :) Put in...
SAE with an identity crisis - I have a thirty gallon tank with three yoyo loaches and a single SAE, (among other fish but they aren't important right now)... This SAE started out with normal behavior, skimming algae off of leaves and the tank glass but it eventually started.. |
