My local public aquarium has a large Lake Malawi display.
As well as having some Neolamprologus and Julidochromis
they also had Tinfoil barbs. An information panel said that
Tinfoil barbs were found in Lake Malawi and surrounding
rivers. Does anybody know if this is correct? Have they been
introduced?
Mind you, they had Mollies in the 'Amazon', display.

Tinfoils from Malawi.. I don't think so, I believe Tinfoils originanted in
the Asia area.. Although they make great company with the Malawi's.

Keeping Kubutu Rainbows with Malawi (Aulonocara) Cichlids? - I'm currently cycleing a Malawi tank. Fortunately, I should be able to use my straight well water (GH = 17 pH ~ 7.8). Someone suggested keeping Kubutu (Turquoise/lacustris) Rainbows with them. Will these water parameters be acceptable to that species?
