I hate to break it to you Pisidan.. That is one of the areas Pet Stores make
a killing.. Even in California it is costing me $2 USD a pound for some lace
rock.. Can't seem to find the stuff very cheap.. I know E bay is expensive..
Have you tried Aquabid.com??

I just went to one of my local landscaper & they had feather rock there. The
guy said they could order whatever I wanted for about 1/2 the price.

holy rock in Dallas? - A few years ago I purchase a load of holy rock at a local stone yard in the Dallas area - at less than 10% of what I would have paid for it at a LFS - I can't remember where the place was, and I was trying to point a friend there - can anyone help me..

Dallas-area source for inexpensive holy rock - I hated having to pay around $2.00 a pound at the LFS for holy rock - with a 105 gallon tank, I would have been broke - I found two places near here that sell the same stuff - at around 10% of the price - after a good rinsing off with the garden hose,..
