Teaching breeding pair to step up

I recently acquired a pair of Timneh breeders. I was hand feeding the
male some apple and asked him to step up. He did,.... then bit the *&%$
out of me! Should I give up or keep trying?

Definately Not. Training takes so much time and patience. Besides the
fact that your birdies might bite you 10 years down the line if this
was one of the first few times, consider yourself successful that he
did in the first place!

Oh and why're people so quiet in this group. I'm sure we have loads of
ideas to exchange!
