Hi All,

First time poster here. Someone recomended this NG for
advice\information on some fish I recently bought. I just picked up 3
fish called "Sun Cats". They are some of the most unique fish I have
ever purchased. They are very personable and very active. One thing
I was not aware of was that supposedly these can get very BIG, someone
says 18 inches. And that they eat other fish, which would explain
why one of my guppies is now missing. What more info can anyone give
me? Thank in advance to all!

They were primarily nocturnal fish. They did come out during feedings. They
didn't harass the Mbuna they shared the tank with and did a poor job at keeping
the fry population down. They seemed to do fine in the higher pH and hard water
I kept my Mbuna in. They grew about two inches in the year that I had them. The
Mbuna left them alone as well. They were pretty shy.
