This sounds like it could be a respiratory illness. Have you changed
bedding or any other environmental factors lately? If so it could be an
allergy or reaction to any dust from the new bedding. Otherwise your little
mouse is quite old at 2 yrs. and will probably need antibiotics from a vet.
Does he have any other symptoms? I know with my mice I would see some blood
sort of spewed inside the house, but they were running around fine, eating,
and otherwise being normal. If your mouse is hunched over, depressed, not
eating as much or shows other signs of just not being "right", get to the
vet asap for antibiotics.
