Hi,
I had cause to return a fish to the petshop today, where my rather wonderful
salesman informed me that the little bug on the tail was in fact and
Argulus. He removed it for me, and everything is now looking much more
positive!
He suggested that I treat the aquarium with salt... please can anyone give
me some detailed advice on how much and what sort to use?
I have a small tank... approx 15 Ltrs capacity.
It is coldwater... I have a Black Moor, a Gold Fantail and a Speckled
Fantail (unsure of the correct term for this little darling... needless to
say this was the one with the Argulus feasting on his tail!!!
I would really appreciate your help, as this tank is in my classroom (I'm a
teacher), and I don't want the kids to come in one day to see lots of
upturned, floating carcasses!!!
Many thanks for your advice,
Jon
