Im not having a good week, I buried my pop a few days ago, went strait back
on night shifts.

when I got home thissmorning I checked on my 3 girls, all seemed alright and
snug as a bug in their polarfleeces.

I checked on them when I got up and I found my poor Bella rat, a black hood
female, she would have been about 3 years. She hadnt appeared sick or lame
at all. she was curled up on the bottom of the cage like she went to sleep
and didn't wake up :-(

just buried her in the back yard.

poor Bella rat, saved from snake food in little Griffith, she was part wild,
but the most kindest rat.

you must be loving your rats to death:-(

I cant even contemplate losing my ratties. Your wife doesnt understand does
she? my husbands first wife wouldnt let him have rats but now we've got 3. I
think we will always have some little friends. Rats are so different to any
other rodent pets..not even in the same league. I really hope you can
persuade your wife to let your rats have company, it's not fair for them to
be on their own is it? and it's not fair for you not to have a little fury
companion.
My husband cried when our mouse died. we both did! I think its fine to mourn
the death of a friend, dont hold back ey?
