LOL i had to take Dot today to get a little growth thingy removed from her
upper eye lid - it was irritating her eye - he had to put her under to do
it - only charged me 90 bucks and that included the meds too. I didnt think
that was all too bad, Had the hubby make me a little ramp out of plywood
and he put a piece of carpet on it - i lean it against the back of the Yukon
and she walks up and down it - I cant lift her anymore and this works
perfect!!!. I need to email you guys about the latest development with me -
i am awaiting a surgery date for the brain tumor..............

Dana if the part about the visit is stressful due to the trip, maybe try
short little trips that dont involve the vets office. Maybe drive a bit and
find a little area that you can walk around in and give em a treat etc. I
personally wouldnt give my dogs anything like that - but thats me - i try to
schedule our appts when the office is more quiet and less crowded also. My
vet also has another door that some enter if they need too. Also if all you
vet visits are for vaccines or other type of things that may make your dog
uneasy etc, you could maybe just go for a visit and have a tech or someone
offer them treats and do things that dont involve the medical type stuff.
just some ideas for you - not sure if will help or not..........

Rescue Remedy is supposed to be great! I know a ton of folks who have and
will use it when necessary. Excellent product from what I've heard.

Never had the need to use it as my guys don't care where they are going...as
long as they get to go! lol My old boy is the only one who was seriously
car shy and it was just getting him to it and in it that was the tough
part...after that he was fine.

Angie...the ramp idea is a great one! I actually have a friend who made
stairs for his old bitch to be able to get on the bed! lol

And my final suggestion is have the vet come to you. Might cost you a few
dollars more but it might be worth it if it's just a simple booster shot
visit.
