Post subject: RSPB paying for dirty tricks campaigns, would it not be easier to just tell the truth?
Archived from groups: alt>animals>ethics>vegetarian, others (more info?)

The RSPB have for some time been paying people to disrupt proceedings
on newsgroups, aimed at anyone who disagrees with their CONservation
hooligan tactics. Currently the biggest voice is that of Malcolm
Ogilvie, in conjunction with others, who on behalf of the RSPB has
lied, libeled abused, defamed, assaulted, caused criminal damage etc.
WHY? well you may ask.
This is because the RSPB do not like telling the truth, they do not
like explaining to us how much wildlife they kill each year, how much
they profit from killing, how much chemicals they use. In fact after
some hundreds of letters sent to various departments of the RSPB
including directly to the house of the highly paid executive (£100pa
PLUS) the RSPB have completely refused point blank to answer any
questions.

YET they see fit to pay criminals like Malcolm Ogilvie troll usenet
and disrupt legitimate debate on conservation!

Who authorized this in the RSPB? how deep is this dirty water?

Is it right our donations be used in such a manner!

So, you dont like reasoned,
well thought out, civil debate?

I understand.

I am a little confused as to 'who is who' on the postings of these, and
other, newsgroups.

Would someone like to put a few 'real names' to some of these people?

What other names do people 'appear' as?

Mike
Wondering who is who.

It's not 'what you know', but 'who you know';-)

There is a Malcolm who is a human being called Malcolm Ogilvie who
posts from MAO DeleteThis @indaal.demon.co.uk.

There is a 'Malcolm' that eats billy goats and lives under bridges,
and is currently posting from brutalAttak DeleteThis @ToughGuy.net, though this is
just the most recent in a line of addresses. It has also had many
other pseudonyms - those of us with long killfiles could probably
offer you a hundred or so. Consider it as one of those natural
phenomena like mosquitos and the common cold, and just keep dropping
the new names into _your_ killfile.
