Archived from groups: alt>pets>rabbits (more info?)

Next week, my little bunny girl will be going to the vet for a checkup/spay.
Dr. Labonde is looking forward to meeting Precious! question though....
since Precious and Whiskey are very closely bonded, what's the best way to
handle this situation? should I bring both bunnies? should I leave Whiskey
home until it's time to pick Precious up? should I leave both there or just
Precious and keep Whiskey out with me and the kids and just have a fun day
out? any ideas?
Thanks!!

I would say to leave Whiskey home since Precious is going to be spayed. He
would be alone while Precious was in surgery and recovery. It might be very
stressful to him.

Many people may disagree with me, but I vote to let him stay home. He will
need to organize the welcome-home party.

I was thinking the same and then I got hit with some guilt because what if
Whiskey begins to completely freak out or what if something happened to
Precious? I mean, anything from a freak incident that could cause a back
injury to her developing unforseen complications that end up costing her her
life? I know that right now I'm doing a lot of worrying and chances are very
good that everything will be just fine... I just hate the anticipation! =\
