Hi all,

We are now able to pet Honey at will. She just hunkers down and lets us
stroke, stroke, stroke...LOL I can even sit beside her on the floor and
do it and she won't run away. She sits to the right of my feet under
the computer table and Miranda will sometimes sit on the left side. It
really looks cute. I wonder though if Honey is becoming possessive of
me? We had a big petting session and then I carried on with what I was
doing on the computer...I though Honey was hanging around the bottom of
my dressing gown but when I looked down it was Miranda. She even got up
on her hind legs to smell my dressing gown (yes it was freshly washed) I
thought that was lovely until Honey chased her away. I could almost
hear her say " She's my Mummy, not yours !) I think Miranda is trying
her best to be sociable but its a massive learning curve for her so any
attempt at contact must be good. I can hand feed her alright and she
will sit near me, but touching is way off limits. I love my
cantankerous, moody bunny's very much although I yearn a lot for the 2 I
had who never got much of a chance.
Miranda's ear seems to be fine now so I don't know what happened there.
I am going to join Youtube so I can post a video of Honey playing with
her babies rattle :) I might try and get something of Miranda, even if
it is her just sitting there :) Miranda is stretched out in the middle
of our lounge, Honey has just finished chasing her round and round the
furniture... hardly the behavior of a scared Rabbit surely? Is it
possible that all this chasing is just play? (Honey is under my feet
again as I type..LOL) They fall asleep in the sunny patches about 10
inches apart so surely this is positive?

Regards Kate, Miranda and Bossy Knickers Honey Bunny :))

Darlin - I've had Pepper for more than a YEAR now and she is still just
starting to kind of hint that she might like pets. She will sit a
couple of feet away - just out of arms reach, like she's saying "If you
wanted to pet me I might let you" - And she still runs away about 1/3 of
the time when I approach.

Isn't it wonderful when they finally come around? When you pet her
head try rubbing her eyes. My boys always tooth purr when I do this.
Also try rubbing her ear between your fingers. You may get bunny kisses.
